The Soul Local is an initiative by a media & marketing company named Calcutta Cacophony which celebrates the flavours of West Bengal's capital city which we more often call, The City Of Joy, for the past three years with popular culture and expertise from the city's independent scene. This year, The Soul Local is set to celebrate the Yuletide spirit with music, games, flea market, food and Cosplay carnival.  The venue for the two-day event, 24th and 25th December, 2022, is Gitanjali Stadium, Kolkata.   The CCU Festival is a project by Make Calcutta Relevant Again and celebrates the Flavours of the City Of Joy in terms of music, food, entrepreneurship, design, technology, fitness, innovation and sustainability.  The event is going to commence on Saturday, that is 29th of October, this year at Taal Kutir Convention Centre, New Town from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. where one can witness fourteen events in sixteen hours, including fitness camp, flea market, startups, tech workshops, dance music, hip hop and many more. The CCU festival presents a sub-event called "Motor Cortex" which presents the best DJs and electronic music artists from the local scene to international level.
