The Soul Local is an initiative by a media & marketing company named Calcutta Cacophony which celebrates the flavours of West Bengal's capital city which we more often call, The City Of Joy, for the past three years with popular culture and expertise from the city's independent scene. This year, The Soul Local is set to celebrate the Yuletide spirit with music, games, flea market, food and Cosplay carnival.  The venue for the two-day event, 24th and 25th December, 2022, is Gitanjali Stadium, Kolkata. Parx Music Fiesta is an event organized by Hrishikesh Kannan which usually involves a musical contest, a band battle for independent underground musicians from the country. The fest took place at Raymond Ground, Thane in Mumbai on 19th and 20th November, this year. The artist line up included HP14 (01:00 p.m.),Panic (01:30 p.m.), Skulptr (02:00 p.m.), White Vinyl (02:30 p.m.), Swarathma (03:00 p.m.) ,Indian Ocean(04:00 p.m.) ,Underground authority X Nikitha Gandhi (05:30 p.m.) ,Benny Dayal (07:00 p.m) and Salim-Sulaiman(08:30 p.m.) on 19th (Saturday) and Daira (02:45 p.m.), Parvaaz (03:45 p.m.), When Chai Met Toast (04:45 p.m.), Euphoria (05:45 p.m.), Papon (07:00 p.m.) and Amit Trivedi (08:30 p.m.) on 20th (Sunday).  The winners of the band contest included Panic (East-Zone), White Vinyl (West Zone), The HP14 (North Zone) and Skulptr (South Zone).  The beverage partner for the event was Asia's and India's first meadery, Moonshine. The NH7 Weekender is a three-day multi-genre concert tour organized by Only Much Louder (OML) and presented by Bacardi Experiences, in Pune, Maharashtra and is considered to be one of the biggest South-Asian music fests in the world because of the massive lineups it comes up with, every time.  The event for this year is going to take place from 25th to 27th November. BREEZE Listen/Stream/Buy   FuzzCulture, a one-man show by Arsh Sharma,   a renowned musical artist based in Mumbai, India, has recently released  the official music video named, "Breeze", on August 3rd, this year.The project has been produced by Arsh Sharma, himself and Savi Shrivastava, along with his other crew members, who have been mentioned in the description section of the YT video. Barun Kashyap, took charge of the production design, direction and the concept, Priyasha Bhardwaj has been cast alongside Arsh Sharma, Farhad Sheikh has dealt with the editing, the cinematography has been carried out by Saket Gyani and the VFX credit goes to VH Studios, the colorist of the project being Shashank Jha, Savi Shrivastava and Arpan Mehrotra have successfully dealt with the production and art and the costume for the same has been taken care of by Jennifer Albert, Pawan Kumar Team and Pallavi. Aandhar er Doshti Bochor (10 Years of Darkness) " A tmahatya ", a well-known death-metal band from the Kolkata metal scene, recently released their debut album which is named "Aandhar er Doshti Bochor" on 26th June, this year. The songs, written in both English and Bengali, talk about philosophy of life and death, existence and decay, the socio-political scenario, the independence struggle and the battles that were fought in the annals of history, striking a close parallel with human suffering, in general, and the battles we fight everyday, the pains of day to day life and coping mechanisms. With proper use of literary devices, a great sense of vocabulary and an emphasis on the universal truths, the whole album is a beautifully crafted piece. Each of the musicians have put in outstanding efforts which have resulted in the creation of this incredibly amazing project, which throws significant light on the darknesses and hardships of human existence.
