  The CCU Festival is a project by Make Calcutta Relevant Again and celebrates the Flavours of the City Of Joy in terms of music, food, entrepreneurship, design, technology, fitness, innovation and sustainability.  The event is going to commence on Saturday, that is 29th of October, this year at Taal Kutir Convention Centre, New Town from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. where one can witness fourteen events in sixteen hours, including fitness camp, flea market, startups, tech workshops, dance music, hip hop and many more. The Pit - The Legacy is back again with its tenth volume, after three year break due to the Pandemic.

The very idea of The Pit came up in 2009 when the Kolkata metal circuit was in its nascent stage and the bands like In Human, Chronic Xorn, Yonsample, DIOTB and other people who loved the genre came together to form a metal community where people would pour in to dive into the spirit of music. It was a time when restaurants and bars never allowed metal bands to perform live and gigs didn't take place as frequently as it happens now. The Pit started as a self sponsored event and the first five volumes took place in Tapan Theatre, the first three volumes being free gigs. People came together in huge numbers to support the artists and the genre as a whole. The theatre was bursting at the seams with a crowd of more than 400 metallers from the city and outside headbanging to their fullest amidst the gothic dimly lit non air-conditioned theatre hall which usually staged plays and other cultural events. Modern Metal Outfit from India with Tech Death elements - Ksetravid with their new releases

  Ksetravid is a Modern Metal/Tech Death band based in Bangalore, India.  With Siddhant Sarkar on vocals, Pritam Middey on guitars, Arunav Bhattacharjee on bass and Nikhil Rajkumar on drums. They released the official lyric video of their debut original composition named "Man Made Crisis" via the famous record label "The Circle Pit" on 16th July, last year, which gained over 7.2K views on You Tube.
