The Indie-Rock act "Antariksh" is a famous New Delhi based musician, Varun Rajput's chef-d'oeuvre which has been chosen by MTV as one of the best rock / progressive acts in India. The band comprises of Varun Rajput himself on lead vocals and guitars, Shrikant Biswakarma with guitars and backing vocals and Arko Ganguly taking charge of the drums. (Current lineup)


With 10.9K monthly listeners on Spotify,"Antariksh" has been successful in over 700 worldwide concert tours including places like United States, United Kingdom, Mauritius, Madagascar and other South-East Asian countries, with a prodigious experience. The first full-length album named "Khoj" was launched on September 8th, 2013 which is a beautiful amalgamation of pop, funk, rock and progressive music, including eleven songs named "Khoj", "Intezaar", " Nishabd", "Tum", "Shoonya", "Parichay", "Aur", "Dheere Dheere", "Na Jaane Kyun", "Aashayein" and " Aisa Hi Hota Hain" which gained huge popularity on all audio streaming platforms.



The official music video of the song "Quest" was a collaborative effort of the band itself along with the Marty Friedman, the former guitarist of Megadeth. It was released on 12th March, last year. "Quest" exemplifies the traumatizing effect that the society leaves on the people dwelling within the troubling status quo through the depiction of a child who leaves behind the broken past and runs away from it.


The song interrogates the ultimate cause of our existence and how the negative emotions like human greed and ego can tear us apart from the outside world. "Quest" has been on of the best hindi prog rock song that has ever been produced, receiving 1.1 lakh views on YouTube and still counting.


The official music videos of "Kaahe Re", "Fanaah", "Raahiya", etc. have also been able to achieve heights with mind-blowing songs and amazing visuals.

"Antariksh" has completed ten years of establishment as a project and is going on a tour to celebrate its tenth anniversary, kicking off with Hard Rock Cafe, Kolkata.
