Aarlon is a famous New Delhi - based Alt-Rock and Metalcore act which improvises on metal in Hindi, the most commonly used language in India. With Pritam Adhikary on vocals, Prankreet Borah on drums, Ankit Ganguly on the bass, Piyush Rana working with the lyrics, guitar and vocals and Ritwik Shivam handling the guitars, production, composition and mixing, Aarlon's music throws significant light in the gloomy corners of the drudgery, trials, tribulations and desperation of the corporeal mortal world.
An album called "Dafan" has been released recently on March 27th, this year which consists of eight tracks named "Vidroh", "Panchhi", "Rok Lo", "Tu", " Saavan", "Aaina", "Inquilaab" and "Dafan".
The song, "Vidroh"(Rebellion), talks about pushing barriers and pursue our ambitions, emphasizing on grit, determination and zeal while "Panchhi"(Birds) is dedicated to Nature and is a clarion call to us, the humans to prevent the nature from being destroyed so that there's always a home for other objects of nature to coexist with us, whereas, "Inquilaab" is a socio-political song, in opposition towards semi-feudalism and the official music video of "Aaina" is enough to take you to the empyrean realm.
Aarlon has been praised highly as "one of the best Metalcore bands" by the founder and co-owner of Chapman Guitars, Robert Sutherland Chapman (aka Rob Chapman)."Dafan" has already blown minds of more than 10K listeners across several platforms and still counting, featured in multiple music magazines & blogs including Rolling Stone India Magazine, Metal Injection The Indian Music Diaries & more..
With the appealing lyrics of each song and incredible work of each of the musicians, the band, the album, the songs are indeed heart-stirring, even the music videos released so far are very well shot with beautiful graphics, cinematography, story and aesthetics. Aarlon is yet to release music videos of all of the songs in the album "Dafan" and more beautifully crafted numbers to come in the near future!
