Moitree Concert is a concert tour that takes place in Kolkata, India with a motto of uniting the two Bengals, rather the two countries India and Bangladesh as a whole, through music. Organised by the Gen-Next Cultural and Social Welfare Group, Bangladeshi Band Music Fans Community and Expotera Events and Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd., Moitree Concert was hosted for the first time on 25th December, 2018, at Santosh Mitra Square, Kolkata, India, as a musical tribute to legendary Bangladeshi musician, Ayub Bacchu, the frontman of the rock band, Love Runs Blind(LRB), who passed away on 18th October, 2018. The performing bands were Powersurge(Bangladesh), Avoid Rafa(Bangladesh), Half Major, The SNF, BAD TRIP, Bleed Bong and Calcutta Blues.
The second edition of Moitree Concert which included Artcell (Bangladesh), Powersurge (Bangladesh), Eeshaan, Prachir, The SNF, Atlas, Alo and Half Major. The event took place on first of February, 2020 just before the global pandemic began wrecking havoc.
After one whole year of lockdown, restrictions and strict lifestyle, sans music fests and frolic, the third volume came up in 2022 in two parts; the first leg as the Pre Gig on 14th of May, 2022, with India's extreme metal giant, Gutslit as the headliner and other bands : VOLK, Road 2 Renaissance, Thirst Of Faust and Survival Through Sufferings, at Perfect Place In Town, Sector V, Kolkata. The event partners included Mediawala, Zeal's Event Management and Planning, Independent Artist Association, 92.7 Big FM, Music Kafe, Tees Hub, Carapace Tattoo and Piercing, Sound Speaks Center and Paytm Insider. The second leg of the event happened at Mohit Moitra Mancha, Kolkata and included Arbo Virus(Bangladesh), Lakkhichara (India), Severe Dementia(Bangladesh), Chronic Xorn(India), Mukti(India), DeathLore(India), The Miliputs(India), Ibn Batuta and Tatar (India). The event was a successful one with music lovers pouring in from every nook and cranny of the city.

Moitree Concert's fourth volume is set to happen on 12th Of November, this year at Rabindra Bhavan, Dumdum with a lineup including the famous bands as headliners, Prithibi and Atmahatya from Kolkata and Warfaze, Aftermath and Mechanix from Bangladesh. The other bands include DeathLore, Radionuclides, The Vagabonds and Facebroke, all from Kolkata, India, with the mission of spreading the love for music, far and wide, across the barbed wires of the borders. The city is gearing up once again to witness the magic of Moitree Concert IV, the coming week.
